Position him to make a tough decision when we get to it: the hard road as a neopro OR professional life as an engineer

Ending Point:
Winning Cat 1 signed with Team Kenda and was competitive in Pro fields in New England when his risk management company offered him a promotion with a substantial salary. He took the engineering job.

My Most Pleased Moment:
Making a wise decision about a girlfriend that wasn’t good for him; surviving a nose bleed during the coldest crit ever in a Collegiate A race hosted by Penn State; winning several key races using skills we had honed repeatedly; fighting hard placing 20th in major cyclo-cross race in first few races as Category A, after a winning Category B season as first-year crosser.
